Reflective ink refers to a type of ink that reflects light and shines in nighttime or dark environments, featuring a reflective effect similar to that of reflective films.
It is mainly applicable to traffic signs, waterproof nylon garments, various trademarks and logos, crafts, watches and jewelry, children's toys, transportation toolsfacilities, fire emergency systems, etc.
Our reflective ink is a one-component solvent-volatile ink suitable for screen printing. When printed on substrates, this ink achieves a reflective effect on its own, which is different from the ink applied on reflective films (which requires the backing of reflective films to produce reflection). The printed coating can be a pale light gray (to achieve a concealing effect) or colored (e.g., red, yellow, blue, green, black, etc.). However, the reflective intensity of this ink is lower than that of reflective films.

Our reflective ink is compatible with substrates including plastic, paper, metal, textiles, glass, etc. Among these, the reflective effect is optimal on substrates with smooth and glossy surfaces, and the ink film shows more vivid colors on white substrates. To observe the reflective effect, please view the printed surface from a distance at a certain tilt angle.
Our high-temperature resistant reflective ink has moderate viscosity and is suitable for printing with 120–200 mesh screens. During printing, it is essential to maintain a consistent squeegee angle and pressure to ensure a uniform ink film and the orderly alignment of reflective pigments, which will optimize the reflective effect of the ink. If the viscosity is too high, it can be diluted with solvents such as 783, butyl cellosolve (anti-white water) or DBE, generally adding 10–20% of the ink weight. (For printing on silicone substrates, please use odorless kerosene as the diluent.) Complete natural drying takes approximately 24 hours, while heat drying at 60°C takes about 20–30 minutes. The drying temperature and duration can be adjusted according to specific circumstances. (For printing on silicone substrates, dry at 200°C for 10 minutes.)
