Luminous ink

Luminous pigment, also known as luminous powder, refers to the powder that absorbs light during the day and glows at night or in the dark. It can be used permanently after an infinite cycle of absorption-light storage-luminescence. Generally, it is saturated after 10-30min of absorption under sunlight or ultraviolet light, and it can continue to glow for 1-12 hours in an all-black environment. Because it is non-toxic, no radioactive substances and no fire and explosion hazards, it can be safely used in daily consumer goods, handicrafts, watches and hand jewelry, toys, trademarks and other products, and also used in architectural decoration, transportation means, facilities, fire emergency systems, traffic signs, etc. The luminous powder has a large density, low oil absorption, good weather resistance, good high temperature resistance, good acid and alkali resistance and solvent resistance.

The application of luminous green in paper mainly uses its yellow-green or blue-green light in the dark to add unique visual effects and functionality to paper products. The following are its common application areas:

• Fire hydrant luminous logo: In some shopping malls, fire hydrants will be affixed with a green luminous logo to make it clearly visible in the dark environment and make it convenient for people to quickly find fire-fighting equipment.

 Fire-fighting and life-saving lighting line: This kind of lighting line integrates lighting and safety guidance. The line body is equipped with removable plastic luminous display arrows, which can clearly guide the direction of escape and safety exit in dark places such as rescue sites.

Generally, it takes only 10-30 minutes of irradiation under sunlight or ultraviolet light to achieve saturated energy storage, and it can continuously emit light for 1-12 hours in a completely dark environment.
 
Non-toxic, non-radioactive and non-flammable, it can be safely applied to daily consumer goods, crafts, watches, jewelry, toys, trademarks and other products. It is also widely used in architectural decoration, transportation vehicles  facilities, fire emergency systems, traffic signs and so on.
 
Luminous pigment mainly falls into two categories: rare earth long-lasting luminous powder and zinc sulfide short-lasting luminous powder. It appears as an off-white or pale yellow powder with variable particle sizes, and emits light in colors such as yellowish green, cyan and sky blue.
 
Boasting high density, low oil absorption, excellent weather resistance, good high-temperature resistance, as well as strong acid, alkali and solvent resistance, it has broad application prospects in various fields.

Luminous powder is suitable for plastic injection molding, the production of screen printing inks and various coatings. Only dispersion is required, no grinding needed.
 
For ink and coating production: Addition ratio: 20%–50%
For plastic injection molding: Addition ratio: 5%–20%
 
The powder achieves an invisible effect and delivers the best luminous performance when applied on white opaque substrates.

Storage & Shelf Life
